Sensory Processing ~ Making Connections
Sensory Processing: Making Connections
|
Interpret challenging behaviors from a sensory perspective. Learn how sensation affects brain chemistry and circuitry and how to incorporate them into daily life when, where and how they are needed. Provide a basic understanding of our own adaptive brain driven responses and how this relates on the spectrum of maladaptive responses. Promote wider use of sensory techniques by helping others understand the rationale behind the Ready Approach. Begin to understand how to create optimal sensory environments to promote learning for all children and adults if they are disabled or not.
